Intermodal markets: volumes nosedive

U.S. Class I intermodal volumes were down 12.5% year-over-year in week 9, significantly weaker than last week’s 7.3% drop and weaker than the four-week average of -4.6%. We are continuing to see the effects of the coronavirus. The spread of the disease is now, without a doubt, a global problem.
