Intermodal Markets, Feb. 5

(Photo: Jim Allen / FreightWaves)

Last week intermodal volumes were up 5.2% against weak comps and due to a run-up in pre-Chinese New Year freight. Intermodal rates were down over the past week, but we expect rates to stabilize and turn slightly higher throughout the rest of 2020. Intermodal rates were higher across the United States over the past week.
