At the moment, refrigerated equipment or “reefer” is the strongest segment of the United States trucking industry, with volumes up more than 9% year-over-year. Reefer capacity is looser than 2018-19 levels but much higher than dry van. Reefer outbound tender rejections are currently 10.94% as one in every ten contracted loads is being rejected by carriers.
